Garberville CA to Salt Lake City UT

This video is a series of multiple clips from Garberville, CA to Salt lake City, UT.  I will be doing more of these as we continue our journey.

Grannie Annie came with us on our drive to her house in Incline Village, Lake Tahoe.  On that drive we started listening to Call of The Wild by Jack London.  It told the backstory on the movie White Fang.  I think Pico liked the parts about dogs.

It was freezing when we arrived in Incline Village. after dinner that night we watched a movie.  During the movie Pico barked but we payed no attention.  Before we went to bed, Papa John my grandpa, took his dog out for a walk and he saw that all the doors of our car were open.  We all went outside to investigate.  It looked like a bear had opened all the doors of the car including the hatchback.  We found toothpaste with bite marks, and an open mason jar that used to contain jam, now licked clean.  Aside from a scratch mark on the center console, the car was undamaged.  The next day we heard that the bear had gotten into a neighbors garage and had eaten all the dog food.

My Grandmas neighborhood is on a really turny road with lots of switchbacks.  Mom and I decided to take a walk.  I brought my longboard but the road was like frozen gravel and it was too rough to slide.  Instead, I sat on my board and started down the hill.  I would get a bunch of speed then I'd zoom up someones driveway to slow down.  The trees and humidity reminded me of Bend because they are both a desert with similar pine trees.  Also there is good skiing, longboarding, paddle boarding, kayaking, biking, and hiking in both places.  The next day we woke up at 6:30am and got ready for the drive to Salt Lake City.  We had breakfast and left at 7:24am. It was a 7 and a half hour drive and we stopped three times.  The first stop was at a coffee shop in Winnamucca NV that we had been to a bunch of times over the years.  I got a peppermint chocolate chip cookie and Griffin got some kind of peanut butter oatmeal cookie.  When we got to my Nana Susu and Papa Joes' house It was 5:07pm, Salt Lake time.  We all were happy to be done with the drive and to see our relatives. All the cousins hung out downstairs and played with the treadmill.  We got toy cars and drove them on it at full speed.  When it was time for dinner we all went upstairs and ate, but right after dinner we went right back down and kept using the treadmill.
