Carmel beach and Golf Cart Driving

Two days ago we went to the Carmel beach with my family and my aunt, grandma, and my cousin,  Mina.  When we got there Griffin and I went skim boarding on the boogie boards but we got too cold.  I went back to the car and got my wetsuit on so I could go boogie boarding.  When I got out in the water I saw three dolphins playing in the waves.  They were the biggest dolphins I've ever seen.  I had so much fun playing in the waves that I stayed in the water for over an hour!  When I was finished boogie boarding I helped my dad and Griffin dig a tunnel.  When we finished we all wrestled in the sand.  The sand was soft and squeaky in between my toes.  We got sand in our hair, our noses and our mouths.  I tackled Griffin and Mina a bunch of times.  As I type, sand is falling out of my hair onto the computer.  The sand was almost as white as snow and the air smelled like salty scrambled eggs.  This was one of the few times that I had been on this beach without it being windy.

The very next day we all went off Terry's property on her green and white golf cart.  We drove up the hill a little ways to the climbing tree.   Everybody started climbing up and down the tree.  Even my mom climbed halfway up!  The bark is rough and thick so it's really easy to climb.  I think the climbing tree is an oak tree, but I'm not sure.  All I know is that it smells really really good.  After that, Griffin drove me up the hill so I could longboard down.  It is not very smooth pavement so it's not great longboarding.  Next I jumped on the golf cart and drove to the dirt area next to the climbing tree.  Griffin insisted on coming with me so I had him sit next to me.  I turned the wheel as sharp as I could to the left and did a little donut.  Griffin made me stop and we drove back to everyone else.  Griffin went to the beach with Uncle Warren and Dad, and Mina drove us around in the golf cart.  Aunt Marilyn worked the pedals and Mina did the steering.  We drove all around until the golf cart started running out of battery, that's when we had to go back.  Mina steered us through the gate and I went and plugged in the golf cart.  Later that night we had some delicious pizza and built a fort.
